John P. Ruiz | Principal
John P. Ruiz is a Principal and Managing Member of R2Interiors, LLC, acreative and energetic interior design, grahpic design and planning firm.
John has over Twenty-Five Years of Interior Design, Graphic Design and Planning experience. He has specialized in a variety of building types working in domestic jurisdictions in Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, and Mid-West as well as international sites in the Caribbean and the Middle East.
R2I’s majority share owner/principal is John P. Ruiz. He is a first-generation American born son of parents that immigrated from Cuba in the mid-60’s and settled in southern New Jersey. Mr. Ruiz’s Hispanic background has permitted him along with the support of his business partner Mr. David Rudzenski to establish R2I as a Nationally Recognized and Certified MBE firm.
As the Design Principal at R2Interiors he has been fortunate to develop his professional career, related experiences, and new friendships working side by side with some of the most accomplished and brilliant clients in the corporate, institutional, and public sectors as well as with talented, highly trained, creative fellow designers, engineers, artists, constructors, and technicians.
John is passionate about design and how it ‘works’ to make our lives better in how we experience built environments and how it benefits our well-being emotionally and physically. His understanding and interest in design on how it positively affects and moves people is the cornerstone of his ability to design inspiring spaces. These are spaces that people aspire to be at because the built environment is engaging and stirs positive feelings that reveal one’s true excitement, joy, and focus. These positive feelings and experiences make us want to be more involved and productive in our work, play, entertainment, dining, rest and rejuvenation, and learning modes. These positive experiences equate to successful design and successful design accomplishes the clients’ project goals.
His day to day client responsibilities includes the seamless delivery of the firm’s design services to accomplish the client’s expectations and goals for each project. Mr. Ruiz is passionate about innovative design and outstanding customer service. He brings a high level of energy, enthusiasm, integrity, and experience to every project. These qualities mesh with his dedication and interest in all matters concerning design and construction. The sum of these attributes helps him lead, manage, and rally the project team to work at a consistently high level making the client proud of the work service rendered to his or her enterprise.
His specialties include: Corporate, Commercial, Educational/University, Healthcare, Hospitality/Casino Gaming, Hotel, Performing Arts/Theaters, & Sports Facilities.
A significant aspect of John’s success professionally is his personal commitment to help others. This commitment to helping others is vertically integrated with his professional responsibility to help and service clients. So it’s natural for John to have made a promise long ago to charity – to help others. It is based on his belief that life is amazing and amazing things happen all the time in our lives we meet many that are less fortunate in how Life has treated them. Everyone deserves more amazing moments in each of our lives, a healthy life emotionally and physically is precious to creating amazing moments. Helping less fortunate people achieve better health for themselves is priceless and brings joy to him. He is committed to give and to help those less fortunate; to help them benefit from care, support, and kindness. John supports charities such as Mental Health Disease, CARES Child Abuse Research and Service, Breast Cancer, Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey, American Red Cross, American Heart Association, Various Major Healthcare Foundations, St. Andrews Catholic Diocese, Paralyzed Veterans, and Wounded Warriors.
